Stem cells can only be administered by a licensed physician like your doctor. Clinics, MedSpas and more can administer exosomes. Currently, the only states in the U.S. that allow stem cell treatments for a range of therapies are Florida and Utah. Texas, Mississippi and North Carolina have approved stem cell treatments, but only for chronic and terminal illnesses. Webgenix products are currently only available in Florida.
Stem cells are administered by IV or local injection. Exosomes are administered by IV, local injection or topically based on the area.
U.S. regulation surrounding stem cells is not about the safety of the therapy itself, it is about the complexity of ethical sourcing. Much like other nationwide ethical debates in medicine, each U.S. state is now taking their own individual stance on stem cell therapy. Up until now, individuals had to leave the U.S. to get these life-changing treatments. The FDA still regulates stem cell products based on the amount of manipulation that occurs during extraction.
